CivicStory Hub

Welcome to the CivicStory Hub and gallery! CivicStories are meant to be deeper and more holistic reflections during your Fellowship that may span across multiple months. You’ll submit two CivicStories during the service year, and have the opportunity to share them with your co-Fellows, Regional Coordinators, and staff — we look forward to engaging with your journey! CivicStories are due January 19 and August 2.

Please respond to one prompt (~250-500 words) per story. You can choose the order based on your preferences:

Prompt 1: Share some reflections about how you’ve grown as a professional. What new or unforeseen skills have you harnessed this service year, that you see yourself leveraging in your career? How can you tell that you’ve grown?

Prompt 2: Share about a distinct part of your capacity building project which constitutes a best practice that can be replicated elsewhere. You may choose to upload a corresponding resource that future Fellows may reference (i.e. reports, toolkits, engagement plans, education materials, maps, ordinances, etc.).

Please submit your CivicStory on the submission form below, and feel free to include an image, screenshot, art, poem, meme, song recommendation, etc. that captures your reflections. We’d love to be able to share your stories with the cohort, external partners and supporters.
